Cookie & Storage Notice
Real Temp currently uses necessary storage only. There are no optional analytics or advertising cookies to accept. This notice covers browser cookies, local storage, offline caches, and similar storage on iOS and Android.
Sign-in and security
Firebase Authentication keeps you signed in using browser or app storage. Firebase App Check and Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise protect requests against abuse and may use security cookies, tokens, and device signals. Google and Apple sign-in can use their own cookies during the sign-in process. These technologies support the service or sign-in you request.
Preferences and offline files
Real Temp stores your selected locations, units, theme, layout, notification setup, and cached weather so the features you choose work between visits. On the web, a service worker caches app files for offline loading. On mobile, app storage holds similar preferences and cached data. Some records expire automatically; preferences, sign-in records, and offline files can persist until replaced, signed out, or cleared using browser or device controls.
Agreement records
A necessary storage record remembers which policy version you accepted, when you accepted it, and that only necessary storage is in use. Device and account records are separate. Account acceptance is also queued for storage with your account when a connection is available. Clearing storage, using a new browser or device, changing accounts without a matching record, or a new policy version can require acceptance again.
Your controls
Optional analytics: not used. Optional advertising tracking: not used. There is no optional tracking permission hidden in the Continue button. If we introduce optional tracking, it will stay off until you make a separate choice, with a way to refuse it or withdraw that permission. You can review this notice in Settings or the footer. You can block or clear cookies and app data in your browser or device settings, but doing so may prevent sign-in or saving preferences. If Real Temp cannot save your agreement record, it will ask you to enable storage and retry before continuing.
External websites
Opening Amazon affiliate links, suggestions, or provider policy links takes you to services with their own storage practices and consent controls. Real Temp's agreement does not authorize optional tracking on those services.
